The San Antonio Cigar Club was founded in order to achieve the following goals:
- To provide safe haven for cigar smokers in social environment
- To educate one another about cigars appreciation, smoking and care while in a social atmosphere
- To assist and serve our community with charitable services offered to those in need
- To establish an organization that will allow volunteers to participate in activities and events that will benefit our military community, past and present
The main goal of the club’s charitable efforts is to provide relief to current military soldiers and veterans. This will be done by establishing certain volunteer events that will generate funds that will be directed fully to purchasing cigars and shipping them to soldiers currently serving overseas in combat zones, as well as those in need here in the United States.
No money from these events will be used as personal compensation for officers of members of the club and all work and services will be performed on a volunteer basis where possible.
